The crew at Eagles Roost is all fired up and ready to help get this series off to a great start. Although we didn't ask for it we are very happy to be able to host the 1st race of the series. The track has a long history of being at the forefront of state championship racing in Missouri and we are happy to beable to contiune that tradition.
Since we started racing in 2007 as Eagles Roost we have had a pit bike class. We always have considered it a legitimate racing class. To help race days go by quicker for everyone we have always run just an open class for the pit bikes. That is our plan for big bike races this year. With good enough turn outs we will run Youth and Adult pit bike classes.
Our next race is coming up March 2 Details are at our web-site.
We would like to wish Good Luck to all the racers of the Shome Pitbike Series. And say Thanks to all the sponsors for stepping up and helping make this new series a success.

Yea I hope we get strong turnouts for all your races this year Jim! I think word got spread around pretty good about how well you keep the track prepped and how nice the track is. I think it will be a great year for the big bike races and the pit bikes! See you soon!

Thanks Ryan I know we seem to learn something new every week and try to apply it to making a better facility for all of us to enjoy. We are still a long way from the vision I have for the ole girl.

coolster? is that slang for a pitster? lol I just have an XR70 with RCM forks and a fox float shock. And a TB 117. I'm either going to dump some more money in this thing or buy a pitster X4 or the new SSR 70 based bike. What classes will you be racing? Very Happy

I'll be racing in some of the 12" classes. Whats the senior class? same as the vet class? I'm 19 I want to do the pro class if the competition is good. I may just do the amateur class if I don't build my bike up/ get a better one.
